CAPT was called by
a family in Ottumwa, Iowa regarding suspected paranormal activity in the home and on the property. This activity has, by the
client account, been increasing over the last few months and is now effecting the children. This effect was drastic and is
effecting in a negative way by making the kids act in a totally different way, this put the case on the top of the request
load.
Research of the site informed us
that the original house was no longer there and the new one was constructed in 1974. The records only go back to 1928 but
the home was older than that so the build date of the original home is unknown. The family has the following claims:
CAPT investigators arrived and conducted a walk through
of the home and property. The site is a rural farm setting and the “hot spots” were shown. Equipment was set up
and the investigation started.
The
team stayed as one group the whole time for this investigation with a new member, Leslie, joining us from another team. Many
hours were spent on the main floor as this is where most of the activity was occurring. It centered on a stairway and the
living room, hallway, and bedrooms. EVP sessions were conducted on the main floor and the outside of the home. Once the EVP
and photo sessions were done in this area, the same was conducted on the old home site location. Many photos were taken in
this area and after that the team went back inside and into the basement. Another EVP session was done and the investigation
concluded. Any found evidence is listed below.
