This was a case in Norwalk, IA that occured in April of 2009. This was the first
and second investigation, first was preliminary.
Weather conditions were unknown except clear and cool.
CAPT was contacted by a family in Norwalk, IA through a referral from a business
in Des Moines, IA. The family was very distraught about activity in their home and contacted CAPT for assistance. The family
has claimed the following activity:
CAPT arrived for the full investigation after being in the
home a few days before hand. We received a phone call saying that the activity was bad and affecting the children in the home,
CAPT found those who could attend on short notice during the week and went to the client's home. Some relief was brought
to the homeowners and was better until the full investigation on the following Saturday could be conducted.
CAPT came in full force and 2 new investigators on their first official investigation as CAPT members.
We did a walk through of the home and was shown the “hot spots” for activity. CAPT was granted permission to interview
the children in the home to ascertain what they were actually experiencing. After this, the equipment was set up and the investigation
started.
CAPT again split into two groups due to the residents being
present it was not feasible to have one group of 10 people. The first group went into the basement where a paint can was thrown
and the second group was in the living and bedroom areas where physical touching and seeing of the mist and apparitions were
claimed to be.
Very detailed and specific EVP sessions were preformed in
these areas with the teams switching during the night to attempt to re-create anything that the prior team and or client was
experiencing. EVP and photo sessions were repeated throughout the night and in any area we could get people into. The client's
had reported that things felt different in the home for the better so CAPT wrapped up and set out for evidence review of the
many hours of audio, video, and photos gathered.
The investigation
was concluded at 0500 hours and the following evidence was obtained.
Since the investigation the family has had no further reports of activity within
the home.
