This was a case in Menlo, IA that occured in March of 2009, first investigation.
In March 2009, CAPT was called to a private residence in Menlo, IA to investigate
claimed paranormal activity on the property. CAPT arrived at 2000 hours and met with the client's, and did a walk through
of the home. “Hot spots” were shown and CAPT then set up equipment for the investigation.
The home is 100+ years old and was found to be in good order and well maintained. The claimed activity is footsteps in the master bedroom, foul odors from the master bedroom, Full Body Apparitions, Physical touching, and Voices. The investigation started at approx. 2100 hours. CAPT again split into 2 groups with one group on the main floor and the second group going upstairs. The upstairs team conducted EVP sessions in the master and kids bedrooms while the first team did the same in the dining and living room areas. The groups switched places and conducted the EVP sessions again. While doing this, Chris was assaulted almost consistently fro 4 straight hours. This was all in the form of slaps and aggressive touching about the head and neck areas. The reason for this was determined by audio to be a resemblance to another person who had wronged the female spirit in the home. This was explained to the “spirit” and the assaults stopped. Many hours of audio, video, and photos were gathered which resulted in the following evidence being captured
