Investigation
Details:
Stated activity is as follows:
The homes history is sketchy at best.
The home was built in 1900 and was reputed to be a corner store first with the living quarters next to the store. The home
was then said to be a dance hall- bar but none of this could be verified through county records. The residents in the area
said that there were lots of fights and arguments when the home was a dance hall-bar and that it is possible that someone
was seriously injured or killed on the property, this claim could also not be verified through records. The home was not occupied
at the time of the investigation.
CAPT arrived at the home around 2100
and conducted a short meeting in the driveway discussing the history as it was told to our research specialist Desi. Chris
and Jim went over safety issues and general procedures with the rest of the team and prepared for the investigation. CAPT
set up equipment in the home and started the investigation at approx 2145.
CAPT conducted the investigation from the basement first to the second floor last. We found no
EMF spikes or evidence of any kind in the basement area and continued to the main floor. While on the first floor Jim sat
in a bedroom and was hearing what he believed to be footsteps from upstairs. Jim made this known to the rest of the team and
we sat in silence for a while to see if any others could experience this as well, Ann did hear the footsteps verifying Jim's
original claim.
As the team sat in the bedroom all of
the electronic equipment shut down. This happened all at the same time to include the video cameras and voice recorders. Approx
4 seconds later the equipment turned back on as if it was never shut off, the video camera was not recording but the voice
recorders were still recording. This event caused some concern with the team as this has never happened to all equipment at
the same time so an equipment check was conducted and all equipment was functioning as it should be.
The investigation then continued to the second floor where the bulk of the time was spent. We obtained
many photos we believe are dust but leave that up to interpretation from you. While on the second floor questions were asked
one being what's your name. At this time Jim got a thought that “Tabitha” was the name of a little girl in
the home, no records of a Tabitha was found in documents obtained by CAPT for this residence. Over the next few days Jim had
a dream of a little girl named Tabitha who came to him, grabbed his little finger and said “thank you”. Jim replied
“your welcome” and the dream ended.
The
evidence obtained netted a few EVP's and NO video evidence but did net pictures shown below. CAPT encourages the viewer
